ABOUT GEA AWARDS
Ghana Entertainment Awards (GEA) was established to showcase the achievements of Ghanaian musicians and performing artists. The GEA exists to acknowledge the contributions of Ghanaian, African and international entertainers and artists.
Ghanaian entertainers are eligible for nominations regardless of age, sex, religion, disability or nationality. Categories for nominations include various genres and styles of African music including High Life, Hiplife, Reggae, Dancers, Comedians, Visual Artists and many other performing artists categories.
THE MISSION
The Ghana Entertainment Awards endeavor is to exhibit the rich arts culture of Ghana, West Africa. The GEA serves to further internationalize the diversity of talents of Ghanaians. In addition, GEA provides public recognition and appreciation of artists, industry professionals, and honorees that demonstrate excellence and significant accomplishments in the Music, Arts & Entertainment fields.
